MINUTES OF THE MEETING
A meeting of all the teaching staff was convened at the Principal’s office on 1st August 2022. The meeting was attended by all the teaching staff except three staff members who remained absent. The Principal was dissatisfied over their absence and directed the admin staff to send show cause notices to the absent staff members in order to fathom their position as to why disciplinary action shall not be initiated against them for their negligence.
The main purpose of the meeting was to chalk out a plan and to formulate strategy for the smooth running of the new academic session 2022-23.
The meeting started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran recited by Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad, Assistant Professor Related Studies.
The Principal, on chair, welcomed all the participants of the meeting, followed by a brief review of the previous academic session. The principal expressed satisfaction with reference to the overall performance of the teaching staff in the previous academic session. However, some weaknesses and shortcomings were also identified for further improvements in the forthcoming academic session.
The principal emphasized the point that each and every teaching staff should utilize his full potential in the best interest of the students of this institute.
Mr. Tariq Ali, Assistant Professor Civil Department, shared his views about the additional duties assigned to the teaching staff. His concerns were also shared by Mr. Shah Room, Associate Professor, and others. The principal agreed with some of the views shared by them and assured them of full support in the new academic session.
The principal assigned additional duties to all the staff members and advised them to perform these duties with full dedication and enthusiasm.
Furthermore, the Principal commended Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Junior Instructor Electrical, for his outstanding performance in the previous academic session as Local Controller of Examination.
