DAE Civil

INTRODUCTION

What does a degree in civil engineering mean for you? Well, if you choose to pursue a civil engineering degree, you’ll discover the extent to which civil engineers shape, build, maintain and expand societies. Whether it’s a bridge, space satellite, dam, road or tunnel, civil engineers are the people who design, construct and manage the entire process, from development to evaluation.

Civil engineering graduates are the brains behind all the largest and most essential structures that surround us – buildings, transport networks, energy and water supplies – and so their value within society is great. In recent years, the profession has seen a shortage of experienced graduates, meaning that now, more than ever, civil engineering graduates are highly sought-after.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
