Admission Procedure
NOTE: Prospectus is available only at the admission office of the Institute.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Application for admission are generally invited within 15 days after the declaration of matric result by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The last date for receipt of application is advertised in the National Urdu and English Dailies. Candidates seeking admission In Government Polytechnic Institute Batkhela should qualify the following conditions.
A) Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have the following qualification:
- Matric with Science Subjects (1st Division)
or - Matric with Science Subjects (2nd Division)
The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in English, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
B) Age
Candidate should be between 15 and 18 years Two years of age. Age relaxation at the upper age limit is permissible by the Chairman of Board of Technical Education after paying the overage fee. The maximum age limit is reckoned from the last date of receipt of application.

- Civil ——————- 60
- Electrical ————– 50
- D.I.T ——————- 50
Total Seats: 160
ALLOCATION OF SEATS
There are sixty seats in Civil Technology & fifty Seats in Electrical Technology which will be filled from Malakand District on the basis of open merit.
FILLING ADMISSION FORM
Students should themselves fill up the application forms and have them attested by an officer in Grade 17 or above. The applications must be submitted on or before the last date of receipt, complete in all respect, late application will not be entertained. Photo copies of the certificates should also be attested by a gazetted Officer. All the documents are to be submitted in file cover.
SUBMISSION OF ADMISSION FORM
The candidates are required to submit their application forms directly, duly covered in a file in the admission office of the Government Polytechnic Institute Batkhela, Malakand.
